Focus on Vincy Vacalares

Cagayan de Oro’s City Hall rooftop carries the kind of character photographers dream about. Steel railings, exposed structures, and open skies created a raw, urban stage for Vincy Vacalares. In that space, fashion found a new rhythm—one that balanced elegance with grit, heritage with reinvention.

Wearing gowns by Jie Jie Aisa, styled with precision by Team Amega, Vincy moved with an ease that transformed the rooftop into her runway. The architecture—railings, ladders, and geometric shadows—framed her like a stage built for this very purpose. What could have been overlooked became cinematic, every angle turning into a visual story.

One of the most striking moments was her portrait before an old map of Cagayan de Oro. It wasn’t just a backdrop; it was a reminder of the city’s identity and history, with Vincy standing at its center. That image captured more than beauty—it anchored her presence to the city she has represented on national stages.

As a former Miss Universe Philippines 2021 candidate, Vincy Vacalares is no stranger to bringing grace and determination into the spotlight. On this rooftop, she showed that same quality: a strong command of space, the instinct to connect with the camera, and the ability to turn stillness into presence.

The collaboration was a celebration of local artistry. Team Amega’s makeup gave her a luminous confidence, and Jie Jie Aisa’s gowns flowed with structure and sophistication. Together, they built a look that was both modern and timeless, rooted in Mindanao creativity.

For The Factory Studio, the shoot with Vincy was a reminder of why photography matters. It wasn’t only about fashion or pageantry—it was about showing how beauty lives within our city, in places that carry stories, character, and possibility. Vincy didn’t just pose; she gave the rooftop its moment, transforming it into a stage worthy of her presence.
