Models Boot Camp Class Beta

If Alpha was about starting the journey, Class Beta was about pushing boundaries. For the first time, The Factory Studio welcomed Arthur Osin as guest mentor — a posing coach whose sharp eye and unique approach to movement gave participants the confidence to hold space and create shape in front of the camera.

The creative highlight of Class Beta was the pattern-on-pattern shoot. With the support of Apollo Home Depot, the Factory team transformed their signature yellow into an entire set. Using Apollo furniture and design elements, the models were challenged to pose in harmony with the environment, finding balance between bold textures and the discipline of form.

Adding to the elegance, the shoot was co-presented by Nazrea Pearls. Models incorporated stunning pearl pieces into their styling, learning how to merge movement with luxury accessories. This not only elevated the photos but also gave participants firsthand experience in how jewelry plays into fashion storytelling.

Class Beta also marked the program’s entry into the public stage with a fashion show at SM Downtown Premier. Staged as part of the mall’s Independence Day celebration, the show was titled “Kubo.” It reimagined modern Filipiniana by taking traditional silhouettes — barongs and baro’t sayas — and giving them a modern, youthful edge. The show became both a performance and a statement: a way to honor heritage while keeping it alive in the present.

Beta proved that the Boot Camp was more than a workshop. It was a movement, where styling, posing, heritage, and design converged to shape the next generation of talents in Cagayan de Oro.
