Art Tents 2024: The Factory Studio & Apollo Home Depot Flip the Script

At Art Tents 2024 in Ayala Centrio, visitors stepped into a world where gravity seemed to bend. The Factory Studio, in collaboration with Apollo Home Depot, unveiled an Upside-Down Booth that stopped people in their tracks.

Painted in Apollo’s signature bold yellow, the booth was outfitted with furniture mounted to the ceiling, creating a surreal visual trick. Guests posed as though walking on walls, lying on ceilings, or defying gravity itself.

The concept was a playful yet striking brainchild of Dawn and Ed, turning functional furniture into installation art. It showcased Apollo’s modern aesthetic while bringing The Factory Studio’s love for illusion, storytelling, and creativity to the forefront.

A special thanks goes to Melissa Abuga-a for her leadership at Art Tents and for making this collaboration possible. This is the second year The Factory Studio has been part of Art Tents, and it was truly a highlight.

At its core, the upside-down booth was about joy—an invitation to laugh, pose, and see the world differently.
