Dawn first discovered them while researching wedding suppliers. We weren’t looking for perfection; we were looking for feeling. And Amavi had that. The way they told love stories was so honest — like watching real life unfold with care and restraint. Every frame they made felt alive, not because it was polished, but because it was human.
It didn’t take long before we asked them to film our wedding.

From Client to Collaboration
Working with Amavi didn’t end with our wedding. Over time, we became collaborators and friends — artists who understood each other’s rhythm.
One of my favorite moments was when Carla suggested an editorial shoot featuring Dawn and me. It was an idea that felt strange at first — turning the lens on ourselves — but we trusted them. And, as always, they saw us the way we couldn’t see ourselves. The resulting images and film captured something real and simple: love, stripped of performance.
That shoot went on to be featured on Bride and Breakfast, and seeing it there didn’t feel like a flex — it felt like gratitude.
