Focus on Amavi Studios

Soulful. Sincere. Intentional. Those are the words that come to mind when I think of Amavi Studios, the wedding filmmakers led by Carla and Jerson. Their work feels less like documentation and more like memory — the kind that lingers, soft and true, long after the music fades.

Dawn first discovered them while researching wedding suppliers. We weren’t looking for perfection; we were looking for feeling. And Amavi had that. The way they told love stories was so honest — like watching real life unfold with care and restraint. Every frame they made felt alive, not because it was polished, but because it was human.

It didn’t take long before we asked them to film our wedding.

Stories That Breathe

Amavi doesn’t rely on spectacle. Their craft is all about presence — quiet glances, laughter between words, the kind of love that hides in small gestures. Watching their films, you feel the air in the moment — unforced, sincere, perfectly imperfect.

Their signature style has become well-recognized among couples looking for something deeper than highlight reels. Their work has been featured multiple times on Bride and Breakfast, one of the Philippines’ leading wedding blogs. Each feature celebrates their approach to storytelling: films that are soulful, unposed, and true.

What sets Carla and Jerson apart is their ability to listen. They don’t just film what’s happening — they feel it, then translate that emotion into motion and sound. That sensitivity is what makes their films timeless.

From Client to Collaboration

Working with Amavi didn’t end with our wedding. Over time, we became collaborators and friends — artists who understood each other’s rhythm.

One of my favorite moments was when Carla suggested an editorial shoot featuring Dawn and me. It was an idea that felt strange at first — turning the lens on ourselves — but we trusted them. And, as always, they saw us the way we couldn’t see ourselves. The resulting images and film captured something real and simple: love, stripped of performance.

That shoot went on to be featured on Bride and Breakfast, and seeing it there didn’t feel like a flex — it felt like gratitude.

The Amavi Way

At its heart, Amavi Studios is about intention. They create films that feel like poetry without needing to say a word. They remind us that love isn’t about spectacle — it’s about sincerity. Every frame they craft is guided by empathy, care, and authenticity — values that also shape how we work at The Factory Studio.

Every time I revisit our film, I’m reminded of how powerful honesty and craftsmanship can be — how art made with heart, discipline, and understanding leaves a lasting mark.
