Suited for the Crown

Featuring two strong contenders of Mr. International Philippines representatives: Alan Roy Sambaan II, representing Cagayan de Oro, and Arjun Arbutra representing Misamis Oriental.

Styled by Zoe Botwin of The Style Firm, dressed by Juniel Doring, and captured by Ed Abella at The Factory Studio. Makeup by Kim Lido and Micaela Macklin.

No gimmicks. No overproduction. Just light, fog, and raw energy.

We wanted this shoot to feel like something familiar—but elevated. A quiet nod to the way portraits used to be made. Hazy, glowy, cinematic. Like something pulled from a dream or a page in an old fashion book. But instead of models from Milan, it’s our city’s finest—representing Misamis Oriental and Cagayan de Oro for Mr. International Philippines.

Get a look behind the scenes of our promo shoot for CDO and Misamis Oriental’s official reps to Mr. International Philippines.

Styled by Zoe Botwin, known for his razor-sharp color sense and visual instincts, and dressed by Juniel Doring, whose avant-garde eye and fearless innovation brought an unexpected tension to the classic frame. This was a collaboration with range and edge.

Shot here at The Factory Studio by yours truly, Ed Abella, it was a portrait of where CDO fashion is headed: confident, creative, and unapologetically ready for the spotlight.
